Chelford is a very small village in North East Cheshire, England, and is situated close to the junction off the A537 and A535 roads. This is approximately six miles South East of Knutsford and 6 miles West of Macclesfield. With good catchment areas close by which are Stockport, Congleton, Northwich, and Altrincham. Cheshire as a whole has a population of some 639, 900.
The car boot is mainly held undercover within the pennage area of the cattle market, however, you can, if desired, go outside to trade. Trollies for the Car Booters are available.
Chelford Sunday Market and Car Boot is one of the largest and most popular markets and car boots in Cheshire. The market takes place every Sunday from 8.30am to 3.30pm. The market runs 52 weeks a year with the exception if the Sunday lands on Christmas or New Years day.
To obtain a trading position simply turn up on site, as early as possible, and join our casual queue, there you will be allocated a position (vans on) by the Market Superintendent on a first come first serve basis. Our staff will be on site 3 hours prior to the advertised opening hours. The cost of pitches / stalls / pens will vary depending upon frontage occupied so it is advisable that you contact us for updated information.
