Uttoxeter Market

This popular Market takes place every Friday between 9am and 4pm and is situated in the old "Market Place". Smack in the Town Centre, surrounded with shops, which adds further attraction to the vast numbers of public who come to shop there. The road on which part of the market lies, is closed to vehicles from 6am until 6pm.

To optain a trading position simply turn up on site as early as possible and join our casual queue. There you will be allocated a position (vans on) by our market superintendent on a first come first served basis. Our staff will be there 3 hours prior to the advertised opening hours. The cost of the pitches will vary depending on frontage occupied. So it is advisable that you contact us for updated information and availability.

Uttoxeter is a Historic Market Town in East Staffordshire, in the Midlands of England, and can be easily reached off the A50 Derby to Stoke-on-Trent Road, with its population of approximately 12,000. Uttoxeter is a great centre for agriculture and historically many were involved in the manufacturing of corsets, it has also been popular for the ironworks, Buntings Brewery, Elkes Bakery and ofcourse the JCB factory.
